The 13th of January 2025 marked the beginning of the new work year at Gejja Women Foundation. After the holiday break, team members returned ready to embark on another year of meaningful work. To set the tone for the year, the circle leads organized a program that began at 2 PM, filled with activities to motivate, bond, and align the team.
The program began with prayers, creating a positive and reflective atmosphere. This was followed by a review of the staff handbook, ensuring everyone was familiar with important policies and guidelines. Topics included working hours, equal opportunities, probation appointments, remuneration, leave policies, accountability, reporting lines, company property use, data protection, occupational safety, health policies, employee communication, employment conditions, and disciplinary procedures. This session provided a clear reminder of the foundation’s values and expectations for the year ahead.

Employees then updated their details and signed contracts of service, ensuring records were accurate and communication remained clear. The organizational tasks were followed by refreshments of fresh fruit, bringing energy to the next activities. The afternoon featured a trivia game that divided participants into three groups. Friendly competition filled the room as teams worked together to answer questions. Another bonding activity followed, focusing on teamwork and fostering stronger relationships among colleagues. These activities highlighted the importance of collaboration and mutual support.

To close the day, the team gathered for cake. This simple celebration marked the start of a promising year and welcomed everyone back to work. It was a meaningful way to wrap up a day dedicated to connection and preparation.
With the foundation’s mission guiding the way, Gejja Women Foundation steps into 2025 with commitment and focus. This year holds the promise of empowering more lives and reaching new milestones. Here’s to a year of growth and success!
